Much Ado About Harry Styles

The year 2012 is almost out and there is still a lot of furore about Harry Styles from One Direction.

I was reading the latest Grazia when I came across an article about Harry Styles titled "Six Degrees of Harry Styles"; hmmm.

I really don't get the hype, I guess this may stem from the fact that even in my young days I never really got the hype of Take That, New Kids On The Block, Bros, Leonardo Da Caprio, etc. I was never really that girl; by the way I'm not saying there weren't bands or actors that I liked.

Anyho back to Harry, so it seems Harry has had a dalliance or near dalliance/flirtation with the likes of Alexa Chung, Natalie Imbruglia (this shocked me), Lucy Horobin, Caggie Dunlop (of Made In Chelsea fame), Cara Delevingne and his latest conquest Taylor Swift (whom I thought was head over heels in love with her Kennedy, I guess not)

I really don't get it :( Each to their own I guess.

Chanel and Hulla Hoops

So today was the showcasing of Chanel at the Paris fashion week and thanks to newspapers like the Daily Mail and Guardian I was able to see I sneak peak of what Chanel has to offer.

I'm not a fashion week expert or massive follower however, because I buy fashion magazines regularly I get to know when it's happening and what the key pieces from key or new designers are (not that I care particularly about this as the prices are very often outside my budget).

However, I liked the following pieces from the Chanel runaway, I can't seem to get an idea of what the prices are anywhere (again not that I can afford them but, its nice to know), I'm guessing this is because it's just showcased on the runway today.

I really like the red bag below with the white hulla hoop handles.

And then whatever the shoes below as a match for the red bag above...

My lips are sealed with regards to the big white hulla hoop bag.

Mitt Romney The Gift That Keeps On Giving

You've got to love Mitt Romney!

I didn't think after Sarah Palin, John McCain and Dubya that Republicans would allow a situation where a candidate would bring them to disrepute to arise again.

I don't know what I think of Mitt Romney and his current gaff below, it does makes me wonder is he being paid by the Democrats? Or is he just plain stupid?

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax."

Thanks to an email titled Final reminder to update your legacy Blogger account‏ (which I have not determined is a hoax or not), I am updating my blog after donkey years. The threat of losing something even one that you don't use much always calls you to action.

I always mean to update, but never remember to. In the world of work, bills, debts, rent, facebook, email, twitter, etc, it's hard to keep afloat; plus getting older means you have a whole bunch of responsibilities.    I used to wonder as a child why my parents did not have a lot of time for what I termed as "fun stuff", now I know why.

It's good to be back, hoping those are not famous last words.
